SMSC Fribourg 2025 – Lifespan: Revolution

Built by the medical students of Fribourg, made for all medical students of Switzerland: this is the weekend to connect, inspire, and explore how far we can push the future of life itself.

From October 17 to 19, the Suisse Medical Students’ Convention (SMSC) will bring together all medical students from across Switzerland for an unforgettable weekend. This year, we’re hosting it in Fribourg – and you don’t want to miss it.

Organized by the Swiss Medical Students’ Association in collaboration with an enthusiastic team of local students, the convention will offer around 350 participants a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and grow through an enriching program.

Through this convention, we will explore the evolving landscape and the revolutions of longevity, with the objective of providing insight into questions around not just life expectancy but quality of life. It being a multifaceted topic, that encompasses a variety of dimensions, from global health to cross-cultural nutrition and age-related patterns of disease, we set out to examine and illustrate those dimensions in a tangible manner.
